Banksia Floral Mural - Pennyweight Walk

These stunning artworks are now available for purchase so you can enjoy them from your own home, garden, or office all year round.

Measuring 2.4m x 2.4m (consisting of 2 x panels 1.2m x 2.4m) the mural was painted using Haymes exterior paint on 9mm non-structural plywood, and gold foil was used to highlight sections of the design. All wood was primed and sealed with 2 layers of undercoat and finished with a Satin UV resistant coating. The panels are box mounted with 35mm 45mm treated pine, so they can be displayed next to one another or separated.

Frankie O’s series of modern florals are expressions of colour and line. The layering of shape and colour and repetition on pattern depict an exciting and energetic arrangement, which is both bold and dynamic. This piece titled ‘The Dishes are Done’ came from a design created in 2018 for her One Digital Drawing a Day project.
