I love Bendigo

This exuberant sketch of the iconic Bendigo Fountain was created with oil pastel on a coloured acrylic background. Experimenting with colour and atmosphere, I created this sketch on a vintage board and frame after making several small works in a similar style.

Trying to keep it lose and suggestive, this work was created in 2hrs, and has capture some of Bendigo's beautiful buildings.

This work has a large vintage wooden frame, which has been painted in Aniseed black matt finish.
