24# The breath of the Day

I'll probably do a few studies of this monument in Bendigo called 'The Discovery of Gold'. The romantic style is something I was captivated by in my early years, now I feel I've got some skill to capture it. This pink is so arresting, I'm totally obsessed. And am loving working wet into wet, being forced to use what's on my surface. I'd barely begun this morning and thought I'd do more tonight. But I'm leaving it here for a minute. There's something about it. Another frame I found in the opp shop. It looks like my dog chewed it but it's actually the finish!
