‘Twinkle Tinkle’

Twinkle Tinkle is an ode to the most perfect cushion that was ever seen on an Instagram post. It was dark coral and white stripes and had the most beautiful scallop edging. Twinkle Tinkle was the first work I created in this size, it took a long time to resolve.  It’s probably one of my favourites. I fought so hard to make it one thing only to have to break down and paint over all those things to let it be what it had to be. It’s perfectly balanced and I am obsessed with the pink scalloped striping. Colour and texture have been the driving force behind Frankie O’s new collage imbued works.
